WWW Wednesday! – March 11th, 2026

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words . All you have to do is answer the following questions each week:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What have you just finished reading?
  • What are you going to rad next?

I am not going to lie; I barely read at all this past week. In between hardcore spiritual warfare, stress, about five days of severe weather, and physically just not feeling too well, it has been a STRUGGLE to get myself in the right mind set. That being said, I am going to try my hardest to pull myself out of this funk for next week.

I am pushing through ‘To the Lighthouse’. I am actually reading a PDF version with some extra context, while listening to a recording on YouTube. This is helping me quite a bit with retaining the information.

‘Peaceful Warrior’ is the book I am reading and reviewing for Online Book Club. I am almost done with it so hopefully I will have that review up sometime this week.

‘Super Moon Protocol’ is my second review I am doing for Online Book Club. This will also be my first physical book review as it is a paperback from Barnes and Noble. This is a bit of a different mood than what I normally read as it is a thriller/suspense/political spy/conspiracy fiction book. I am pretty excited to give it a shot.

‘An Improper Agreement’ and ‘Pretending to be the Mountain Man’s Wife’ is the same as last week’s post so I will not repeat myself with that.

  1. Cool, to get your update on your progress.
I think with To the Lighthouse, it’s not so much the plot that matters as it is her processing of human experience in the mundane. Yet each expression of consciousness she presents feels wondrous and deeply touching. Each line almost feels like a poem in its own right. It’s as though she’s conveying that the present moment – right now – is mind-blowing in its own way, and that our thoughts truly matter, because they are ours.

    1. Having the knowledge that the plot really does not matter honestly helps me get through all the streams lol
I agree with how you mentioned the lady who is reading it out loud is so soft and gentle, it can put me to sleep if I am not careful.

      1. I was listening to it again last night and it does contain lots of plot. So don’t listen to me. But, yeh I still love it and puts me into a nice slumber as well.

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 29 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
