Hello!
Welcome to the first monthly re-cap of 2026! As usual, January felt like it was never going end, so when I noticed it was the last day, I freaked out for a second and quickly finished my final book to count towards this month. The number of books read, has boosted January to the second most productive reading month for me since September 2025. It is also the first month in which audiobooks are included in the pile.
My favorite book from this month has to be ‘Christmas with the Elf King’ by Lenore Stutznegger. I LOVED the Christmas-esque snow filled world where humans and elves collide. The romance was super sweet and the magic as a whole, led to some very enjoyable times reading that lovely story. It was such a perfect choice for the winter months.
As usual, I will link all the reviews I have done down below:
- The Night Ends with Fire
- The Snow Child
- Christmas with the Elf King
- Alaskan Holiday
- Edenbrooke
- Meet Me in the Margins
- Acting Merry
- The Water Keeper
- The Last Bookshop in London
- If All Else Sails
