I would say your mindset absolutely affects your financial success/situation.

If you are someone who remains positive even throughout the financial lows, you will eventually get to a better place. The key is to not give up and settle. Yeah you may be getting by just paying bills and making sure all your needs are met (which is great by the way) but could you be getting more? It does take a bit of an adventurous spirit to be able to take risks more comfortably in any sector of life.

Meanwhile, if you are someone who may struggle with having a positive mindset it may be more difficult to reach a more successful stage in your life. I find myself here many times so no judgement. Pessimism will halt any progress you may have been making in your life so it is best to keep that in check.
