The Apothecary on Wattle Lane by Caroline Bakker has already been published but it is a rather quick read that I was incredibly intrigued by. So far, I am about 10% of the way through and the main character has already found herself within the mysterious shop. The magical elements are already quite apparent so I am hoping I enjoy the remainder of the book!
Christmas, Actually is set to publish on September 11, 2026 (coming up fast) with Bookouture. I have actually not quite started it yet, but I am looking forward to a Christmas read for sure! It has been getting some pretty good reviews so I have pretty high hopes!
Last week, I mentioned I was reading A Perfect Mother by Miranda Smith. I decided to drop this one as well since there was a cheating sexual scene in it, along with some harsher language that I was struggling through as well.
