Right now, my favorite apps are pretty much all book related, with the exception of one.
- YouTube – I use YouTube mainly for listening to music while cooking, cleaning or playing certain videogames. I do not have YouTube Premium or whatever their subscription is, but I have noticed less ads than free Pandora. I have listened to audiobooks on here before as well in pretty good quality.
- NetGalley Reader – Whenever I am away from my computer, this is used to read my ARCs and other books. I do wish it was better at linking up your reading progress with the website however.
- Libby – My favorite place now to listen to audiobooks. Since it goes through the library system, its all free you may just have to wait for a bit for a copy to be returned. This is a great recommendation for people who may no longer have regular access to your physical library. You do need a library card though.
- Fable – This is a great social reading website. Similar to Goodreads, you can get recommendations based on your library and join groups with similar interests. I love the random book picker option, especially with having such a large TBR myself.
- Kindle – While I have taken a bit of a break from my TBR for the moment, the Kindle app was where I was reading most of my eBooks. It does a really great job at syncing your progress between the app and website and you can also look up other books and download them on the app as well.
