Stacking the Shelves – June 27th, 2026

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Reading Reality. It is all about showcasing all the books you are adding to your shelves, whether it be physical, electronic or audio. As long as it can be enjoyed in some shape or form, it belongs on Stacking the Shelves!

This week, I added three more books to my NetGalley shelf.

Christmas Exodus by Jessica Williams was published last year and is about two people in the military who end up developing feelings for one another. This hot Summer heat is the best time to read a Winter themed book in my opinion!

The Secret Bookshop in Ireland by Susanne O’Leary is the first book in an uplifting and gripping romance series set in Ireland. This one is set to publish on July 31st, 2026 and is going to be available on Kindle Unlimited.

Falling Into Us by Denise Hunter is a heartwarming contemporary romance that is set to publish on October 13th, 2026. I have read and reviewed one of Denise’s other books that I was not the biggest fan of due to some of the subject matter, so I am anxious to check out another series from her.

  1. These look good. I haven’t got any Christmas books on my list yet. I think I got my first Christmas book in July last year so we shall see what happens!

    Have a great weekend!

  2. I used to read Denise Hunter all the time, but now I am woefully behind and have several of hers that I want to catch up on. I hope you enjoy this one better than the last one. Have a great week!

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
