Back in 2018 or 2019, Kolton and I went to a Jon Bellion concert in Irving. It was a part of his Glory Sound Prep tour.

While I hate the fact I have no clear pictures of it, it was hands down the best concert. During his rendition of Blu, he was wearing the uniform from the album art, and all the lights were fading into blue, it was so cool. He played some of his older stuff like Guillotine and All Time Low (the first song I heard of his) and most of the songs from the new album.

The openers themselves were also pretty cool with Lawrence and Marc E. Bassey. Lawrence is a sibling created soul-pop group that was the first group signed to Bellion’s record label Beautiful Minds. Marc E. Bassey is a Bay Area singer that was the second opener. He had more of a hip hop style with his music. They were both pretty cool with parts of Lawrence returning during the actual concert for background instrumentation.

When we were waiting for the concert to begin, there was this young guy down in the pit area drinking out of a red solo cup and dancing his absolute hardest lol. He was wearing one of those Arizona Tea meme shirts you would see ads for all over Youtube back in the day. It was an entertaining sight before the entertainment lol.

Such an amazing night just a few days after my birthday no less.
