Living in the outskirts of Fort Worth, there is truly a ton of stuff to do depending on your interests.

There are plenty of walking and biking trails going down the Trinity River and the various parks spread around the place. There are also plenty of places downtown like Sundance Square and the Stockyards. If you are more the active type.

For the families, there are the water gardens, the zoo, museums, and various other child friendly places to visit.

There are plenty of hotels and shopping opportunities without ever leaving the down town area. I would just plan on either walking or riding everywhere since the parking situation is lacking for sure.

As far as the BEST thing to do in Fort Worth, I would have to say something probably with our history. The Stockyards and the different cowboy and cowgirl museums that showcase the cattle drive and railroad history of this area would be top choice for tourists in my opinion.
