A Good Chuckle (DP#204)

When I think about specific ‘things’ that make me laugh, my husband appears front and center in my mind. He has the ability to give just one unexpected facial expression, or make one out of pocket comment, and I am done man. When we are feeding off of each other’s unhinged-ness, we could be wheezing from laughing for minutes at a time. He also has this gift of being able to mimic certain sounds and voices almost perfectly, which makes me lose my mind if he starts parroting a meme out of nowhere.

Sometimes when we are winding down from a stressful day, we put on videos of dumb and fat animals doing weird stuff and being goofy, and that sets us both off typically. We also tend to have a bit of a darker sense of humor so we may watch some shorts of Gen Z or even millennial people being themselves lol.

For some reason I find cringe videos to be quite funny, but Kolton hates them due to their prevalence to make him very uncomfortable, which I in turn find even more hilarious 😀

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
