My apologies for not updating yall in a while about the van. She has been at the custom paint shop for the past couple weeks, and we have gotten her back today and she has her new color! We went with the green due to it going with the adventure van aesthetic we were going for.

In the shade, it’s almost a forest green but in the sunlight, it is almost as bright and vibrant as astro turf which is exactly what we had in our heads. They also went around the bottom with matte black which just makes it look super clean in my opinion. Instead of normal paint, we decided to have her bed lined so the paint lasts a heck of a lot longer, especially as we are driving in the heavier forested areas, getting scratched up and stuff.

Now she does not look disgusting with all the surface rust and kidnapper van white lol

For now, she is back in the shop where they are doing some warranty work on the transmission again due to it bogging down a bit, checking the ABS system, and fixing the horn. That could take another couple of weeks since they have to build our back up transmission then test it. After THAT, we are going to Car Toys to have our front and rear facing cameras installed, THEN we are going to install the Maxxair fan on the roof, then building out the interior finally!

We still have a bit to go but it feels good that she is finally looking more like her true self 🙂
