Besides anything and everything? I truly LOVE how vague these prompts are, but alas.
My husband and I had our once a decade eye exam today. We have not been in over five years, and we both needed new glasses and just a looksie to make sure everything is all right. Per our initial exam, we both have some signs of glaucoma in our right eyes. Our doctor said that there was nothing to be concerned about yet, she just wanted us to be aware of it, and we are coming back in May for another more in-depth examination for that. We also are waiting on our new glasses so that will only take about a week and a half.
I say all that to say that I could definitely be keeping a better eye (pun intended) on my overall health and wellbeing. When she mentioned the glaucoma, it instantly reminded me of my dad and grandfather, both of whom had vision problems, mainly due to neither of them taking their health seriously. I do not want to be like that. I may not have health insurance right now, but I will take what I have and see how much I can get checked out while I can.
We have already made so much progress with eating healthier and getting to the gym much more regularly, so I am on the way to being more on top of my physical health which in turn helps the mental and emotional side of things.
