I would dive into the tortured artist and writer route and choose to meet both Edgar Allen Poe and Vincent Van Gogh.
Both of these individuals have always fascinated me since I feel like neither of them were greatly appreciated until they were gone. Most of the information we are told about both of them is typically negative with emphasis on their emotional and mental distress. I would LOVE to have conversations with them and hear their stories from their own mouths.
It would also be very interesting to take them out into the world, and see what kind of people they are when they are away from their art. What activities would they enjoy? What restaurants would they want to eat at? I would also love to show them how instrumental and iconic they truly became in their fields. Similar to that one scene in Doctor Who, that made me cry like a baby, in which he shows Vincent his artwork up in a museum.
As somebody that has very artistically inclined family members, I honestly feel very drawn to these gentlemen. My grandma paints and could honestly sell her works if she had any real desire to do so. She also creates her own birthday and holiday cards for everyone that we have always told her people would be more than willing to buy homemade cards, but alas, her home is our own personal museum.
