We have our first viewing scheduled for tonight! It happened pretty quickly so today will be another cleaning day but that is okay.

That being said, last night a ridiculous storm blew through North Texas with crazy winds. There were even reports of completely unwarned tornados touching down near us. We ended up huddling in the bathroom for about thirty minutes due to the wind howling. Fortunately, the worst passed us by, but our electricity went out for about 6 hours, and the humidity was making it difficult to fall asleep. We went from the living room, to blasting the AC in the truck, back to the living room where eventually the lights flash banged us out of mid-sleep. The power came back on around 3 in the morning, so we got about 4 hours of full sleep last night. That was a blessing since the power company claimed it would not be back on until 5:30 am so we got an extra couple of hours.

This morning, I did notice some damage in the backyard from the high winds. A small part of a supporting beam on the back fence is just gone, along with a part of the siding on one of the sheds. We cannot really do anything about that now but luckily; we did disclose this house is a bit of a fixer-upper so hopefully they understand. Pretty poor timing to say the least but it could have been so much worse. Somebody else said their whole roof was ripped off last night! Absolutely insane.

^^The crazy radar last night that spawned at least two spin-up tornados. All of which went completely unwarned. There were absolutely NO sirens at all even though massive rotation was going over our neighborhoods. Unacceptable.
