How do you define success in life?

I define success, mainly through satisfaction and independence.
If I find gratification in whatever I am doing, regardless of how much money I am making, and am still able to make ends meet and support myself, I will call that successful. Now, obviously, we all have to make a certain amount of money to be able to properly care for ourselves and our families. I simply meant, it does not take millions upon millions to do that. I would say that most people would not even need 10 thousand a month to be comfortable, if they are not living outside their means of course.
Success also depends on one’s goals as well. If it is your goal to make those millions of dollars, then I can see where you may not reach that satisfaction until that happens. Likewise, if it is your goal to give back to the community with some sort of service or non-profit, success can still be found there even without bringing home much money (if any).
At the end of the day, it already feels like such a struggle to be living in this world already, with all the bills and terrible inflation. Reaching those small day-to-day goals will broaden your horizons to where you can eventually fulfill your bigger desires in life. Continuing to march forward even with all the setbacks and stressors of life, is the true success story.
