Synopsis
Emma Harper never wanted her quiet Boston bookstore to become the epicenter of chaos, but between a sharp-tongued cat, an overzealous best friend, and a mysterious letter addressed to her long-dead grandmother, quiet is officially off the shelves. Fiercely independent, bookish, and a little impulsive, Emma has always been more comfortable with paperbacks than people… until the past refuses to stay archived.
Jack Bennett looks like he walked straight out of a glossy magazine: polished, disciplined, and irritatingly composed. A tech CEO with a family legacy wrapped in secrets, Jack has spent his life in control, until one obscure out-of-print novel and a misplaced envelope drag him into Emma’s world of crooked shelves, late-night research, and inconveniently strong chemistry.
When a decades-old feud between their grandmothers resurfaces, Emma and Jack are forced into an uneasy alliance that feels a little too much like the beginning of a love story. But as sparks fly and secrets unravel, the question becomes: can two people who guard their hearts like rare first editions trust each other enough to rewrite the ending?

Comparison:
Love, Locked and Loaded is very much a contemporary mystery romance novel. In that regard it can compare to both of my current reads separately.
Greetings of the Season is a regency romance that takes place obviously on Earth, just back in the day lol.
When the Magic Comes has some mystery elements as well, it just takes place in a fantastical world.
A very interesting comparison for sure lol.
