What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?

Several years ago, I had just started this new job at this construction company. I had just completed my first full week with them and honestly, I was struggling with it a lot.

Needless to say, on that Friday I felt so defeated since i had been looking for a job for a while and now that I had one, it was just so draining. Kolton could clearly see how borderline miserable I was so he just dropped the question of, do you want to go on a small road trip?

That following day, we got in the truck and headed towards Shreveport, Louisiana. Luckily from DFW, it is only about a 3 hour drive so we easily made the to and back trip within a day. When we got to Shreveport, we looked around a bit and visited a local aquarium for a while then came back home lol.

Neither of us had ever been to Louisiana before so it felt like the perfect opportunity to do so lol.

We have made similar out of the blue trips like this, but this was the longest distance for sure.
