Whoo this has been a hectic-as-all-get-out week. I feel as though I have barely focused on reading at all. That being said, I did get approved for 5 more ARCs so hopefully that will jump start my reading motivation once again.
Clicking on the covers will take you to their Amazon or Goodreads pages!

The Detective’s Wife by Mary Stone is set to publish on September 24th with Bookouture. This is yet another thriller/suspense/mystery that I think I will enjoy.
“Everyone stares in admiration at my husband. As he accepts his award for excellence in service, his warm smile draws everyone in. Until a reporter shouts, “Detective Slater, did you kill your ex-wife?” An unbelievably twisty psychological thriller from international multi-million-copy bestseller Mary Stone that will have you gasping out loud. Fans of The Housemaid, Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train will be completely addicted.”

Greetings of the Season by Barbara Metzger (the collector’s edition) is set to publish on October 13th with Histria Romance. This is a holiday focused regency romance that I just know will be right up my alley for sure!
“A lush, emotionally charged Regency Christmas romance that brings lords, widows, servants, and village families to the same firelit hearth, Greetings of the Season gives readers the big, generous holiday love story they return to every year. For fans of Mary Balogh and Julia Quinn, with slow burn, class difference, found family, grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, and Christmas second chances that BookTok readers devour.”

An Incidental Nazi by Catherine Gillard is set to publish on October 27th with Histria Fiction. This is another WWII historical fiction that focuses on the perspective of a boy’s choir and how powerful music can be within such a dark world.
“A choirboy, a conflicted conductor, and a mother torn between love and survival—The Incidental Nazi follows lives scattered across continents during World War II, where music offers both hope and escape. With rich emotional depth and morally complex characters, it shows how ordinary people navigate impossible choices, making it a story that resonates with readers who care about history, humanity, and the quiet power of art.”

Briefly, Forever by Sara Gray is set to publish on March 2nd, 2027 with G.P. Putnam’s Sons. This is an emotional debut novel showcasing the honest reality through the ups and downs of everyday love stories. I definitely plan on keeping the tissues nearby when reading this one.
“Full of joy and wisdom, a heart-stopping, emotional debut showing that a life isn’t measured in how long it stretches, but in how much love it can hold. Briefly, Forever reminds us that the most important part of a love story is not how it ends, but how we embrace the strangeness and beauty of being alive, loving and living.”
