Personally, I do not really buy books but there are authors whose books I am quicker to pick rent or read once they are released.
- Charlie N. Holmberg – Through this name she seems to focus on historical fantasy with heavy magic elements. I fell in love with her writing initially through her Paper Magician series and am looking forward to getting to the final installment of the Whimbrel House series that is releasing next month.
- Jody Hedlund – She seems to write mainly Western/Historical Romance. I initially became aware of her books through her Healing Springs Ranch series. I have read and rated the first two books pretty highly and the third and fourth installments came out this year and are both pretty high up on my TBR.
- Juliana Smith – She writes contemporary romance and while I have only read one of her books, I immediately fell in love with her writing. Her covers look so lovely as well! She has a sequel coming out later this year and the first book in a new series coming out in 2027 so that is exciting!
- Audra Wells – She writes regency style romance mainly. I have read her entire Improper Agreements series and they were all lovely. Her latest book came out in March, I just need to get through The Gentleman’s Gamble series to read it lol.
