This week was my heaviest week as far as NetGalley approvals goes. I got a whopping 7 new ARCs to read. Luckily, I still have plenty of time to finish each one before their publication date so I am excited to get on it!
Thank you to all the authors and publishers for allowing me access to you ARCs!

The Paper House by Barbara Josselsohn is due to publish on September 2nd with Bookouture and the next read on my list. Per part of the blurb:
“It was a shop full of wonder; sheets of colorful paper, pots of ink on every surface, and spools of ribbon suspended on gleaming brass hooks. But it was even more magical when it was filled with people. Rumor was that the owner, Tilly, could send letters to long-lost loved ones if you penned them on the long wooden desk…“
Barbara was also super nice to reach out to me before I started reading so I am extra excited for this one 🙂
The Twilight Garden by Emma Davies is due to publish on September 3rd with Bookouture.
“A secret garden. A moonlit reunion. And a chance to start again…? An absolutely unputdownable story about lost love, second chances, and the importance of being true to yourself. Fans of The Last List of Mabel Beaumont, Sally Page and Amanda Prowse will adore this stunning, heartbreaking and yet uplifting novel of finding hope in the most unexpected of places.“
A Perfect Mother by Miranda Smith is due to publish on September 10th with Bookouture.
“My life is perfect. Bad things don’t happen to me. Until the day my daughter vanishes…A gasp-out-loud psychological thriller from the bestselling author of Not My Mother, with a twist you’ll never see coming. Perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell, Lucy Foley and Gillian Flynn.”
The Foster Child by Karen King is set to publish on October 5th with Bookouture.
“The child she once fostered is back. And so is a secret that should have stayed buried…A totally addictive and heart-pounding psychological thriller packed with shocking twists, unforgettable characters and impossible-to-see-coming secrets. Perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Lisa Jewell and T.M. Logan.”

Christmas, Actually by Donna Ashcroft is due to publish on September 11th with Bookouture.
“Welcome to Hollythorpe, a quaint village in the Cotswolds, where the locals are stringing lights around their village tree. And meet Clara as she pulls her suitcase through the snow, hoping for a new start…Fans of One Day in December, Philippa Ashley, Sarah Morgan and Jenny Colgan will adore this totally uplifting and page-turning novel of finding that love really is all around.“
Red The River Rises by Kevin Crossley-Holland is due to publish on October 20th with Candlewick Press.
“From an award-winning storyteller comes a sweeping historical tale of honor, star-crossed lovers, and loyalty, set during the violent Viking invasion of York, England.”
That cover instantly peaked my interest! And the history concerning the Vikings has always interested me as well, having ancestors from Norway.
Tenderly Betrayed by Hannah Linder is due to publish on November 1st with Barbour Fiction.
“She was the one person in the world who seeped warmth beyond his cold, fortified walls. Until he betrayed her.”
Hannah Linder apparently writes Gothic-Style Regency novels, so I am pretty intrigued with this one!
