Top Ten Tuesday – Cover Freebie!

—

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!

The prompt for this week is a freebie concerning the cover. For this, I decided to pick books that not only had a color in the title, but had to have that color somewhere present on the cover itself. I do not yet know if this will be easier than I imagine but I am giving a try lol.

Okay so I did end up having to skip a handful of books, mainly ones with “Gold” in the title since it was iffy with the covers. This one was pretty fun nonetheless!

I am anxious to see which direction everyone took with this freebie!

I love your choice of topic and that you also picked covers that had the specific color actually in the cover!

It truthfully was not so bad. I was honestly going to do a bunch of purple covers so it was a bit more challenging than that for sure but it was still fun lol.

That’s actually a nice spin on the topic! It must’ve taken a while to find them all though, so good job! I haven’t read any of these, but I’ve heard good things about Six Crimson Cranes 😄

Thank you so much! I think it took about 30 minutes or so endless scrolling on my TBR on Goodreads. If you have just the covers showing, it is not so bad picking them out.
I am pretty excited to read Six Crimson Cranes so I am glad to hear that.

What makes it more difficult is if you do not have too many books on your TBR or some other list. If you have a decent sized one, you can just scroll through the covers and pick them out from a glance.
You are pretty clever as well Carol so I am sure you could!

Thank you and as long as you have a big enough bank of books, you can just scroll until they catch your eye lol.
      Not too bad.

Great job matching colors in the titles to the ones on the cover.

Oooh what a great choice for the freebie! Now I want to try and find a cover with a color in the title that isn’t on the cover. Were the gold ones just more yellow or were they pretty obviously no gold?

      Lol good idea!
I would say the gold ones were more yellow or brown for sure. There was one with some wheat or barley on the cover that was ALMOST there but I felt like it was a bit a of a stretch. There was another one where the title was gold but nothing really else so that was also a pass.
