Goodbye to July!

This past month has been pretty productive when it comes to reading for me. I completed 8 books; one audiobook from my TBR, and 7 eBooks from NetGalley.
As far as ratings are concerned 4-stars took the cake with 4 books, (2) 3.5 stars, (1) 3 star and (1) 2 star.
As my second month with NetGalley, I read and reviewed over twice as many books as June and received my badge for having completed 10 reviews for them. I love badges and stickers so this made me a bit too excited to see lol.

I would The Shattered King by Charlie N. Holmberg and The Lost Husband by Shari J. Ryan were my two favorite books.

The Shattered King was about about a healer who gets summoned to the castle to help heal the sickly prince. While she is there, she begins to grown attached to him and experiences an invasion from the enemy kingdom. This book ended on a cliff hanger so I am excited to read the sequel!

The Lost Husband was my second historical fiction this month. It follows Celina who has found herself being swept up in the Nazi regime as a Jewish wife. After the Soviet liberation, she swore she saw her once believed dead husband in a German soldier uniform, and makes it her mission to find him before he is held responsible for Germany’s war crimes.
