This week, I have been accepted for one more NetGalley review, and added two other books to my TBR.

- Reich to Israel by Avi Strauss is my latest NetGalley approval. I will let part of the synopsis speak for itself:
“Reich to Israel is a sweeping work of Holocaust historical fiction about guilt, survival, moral compromise, and the weight of complicity in the aftermath of unimaginable evil. It explores identity, love, and the difficult search for redemption. For readers of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, The Nightingale, and We Were the Lucky Ones, this powerful World War II novel asks whether a man who became part of darkness can ever truly confront the harm he caused or whether the burden of his past can ever be escaped. A compelling choice for readers and book clubs drawn to moral conflict, reckoning, and the enduring consequences of history.“ - Best Seller by Christina Rost is a Christian fiction about a crime novelist who agrees to write a memoir for an elderly gentleman. Unbeknownst to her, this memoir opens her up to clues as to where hidden WWII treasure is located. This jumpstarts a sort of cat and mouse game of treasure hunting where she struggles to know who to trust.
- How Can My Manager Be So Stupid by Kazumasa Hayami (translated by Haydn Trowell) is:
“A Japanese rendition of The Office set in a bookstore, following a young bookstore employee’s fight for stability despite her infuriatingly oblivious manager, while against all odds clinging to her passion for books.”
