Spies, Lies, & Alibis by Natalie Walters and published by Thomas Nelson, is a rom-com, spy romance involving two individuals who knew each other as children. They become reacquainted and find themselves on opposing sides of seedy business dealings. The hilarity and outrageous situations that ensue are laugh out loud. The audiobook version is quite fantastic as both actors do tremendous jobs with plenty of emotion and entertainment. I am currently about 70% of the way through this.
The Inklings Detective Agency by John R. Kelly and published by Penguin Random House Christian Publishing/Waterbrook is a historical fiction showcasing some of the most well known authors back in the day. The likes of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Arthur Conan Doyle and others join forces to solve a murder. I do enjoy the premise of this book and am currently about 10% of the way through this one.
I am hoping to get through both of these within the next few days.

Both of these books ended up being 5-star reads for me which I am not sure if that has happened before so this was a great reading/listening week for sure!
Both of my reviews:
Keeper of Enchanted Rooms by Charlie N. Holmberg
Where We Belong by Kim Vogel Sawyer

Both of these are two more NetGalley acceptances for me. Both of them came in the same day with was a lovely surprise.
The Secret Bookshop in Ireland by Susanne O’ Leary and published by Bookouture is set to release on July 31st of 2026. This is described as an uplifting and gripping Irish romance. I have not read one of Susanne’s books before so I am excited to become acquainted with her writing.
Falling Into Us by Denise Hunter and published by Thomas Nelson Fiction is set to release on October 13, 2026. This is a typical romance/fiction story that Denise is known for. I have read one of her books before and have several others on my TBR so I am excited to give this one a try.
