Top Ten Tuesday – Handwritten Covers

Top Ten Tuesdays is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!

The prompt this week are books that have fonts on their covers that appear handwritten.
I decided to choose titles that were written in a sort of flowy cursive-esque style since I love that aesthetic. I also chose more simplistic and contemporary reads, to make it appear as though it could have been hand drawn if that makes sense lol.

The Goodreads pages are attached to the covers for your convenience!

  1. I recognize Jessica’s! I think I saw that one on Amazon during one of my (too many) browses of new fiction. 🙂 Thanks for sharing – and for visiting my list today!

    1. Ah yes! You can never have too many book browses though lol Of course and thank you!

  2. Love the Waiting Hearts cover!

    1. Me too. It is so hard to pick a favorite and I like to change my mind too much lol

  3. Makes perfect sense, thanks for sharing your #TTT

    1. Thank you 🙂

  4. You did a great job choosing fonts for this prompt! They all make me want to pick up the book!

    1. Thank you Carol! It makes the book feel so warm and welcoming in my opinion.

  5. These are all so pretty!

    1. Thank you for visiting 🙂 I wish I could create art like this for sure.

  6. They look really beautiful there all thogether. The last one almost has an old fashioned look.

    1. I agree. It gives me a sort of Victorian Era vibe, particularly with the flowers.

  7. A great list. The covers are pretty in general.

    Have a great week!

    1. Thank you Emily and you have a great week yourself!

Ooh nice picks! These look the opposite of my picks! Lol. It’s funny how similar fonts can look against different cover concepts!

    Thanks for visiting my TTT!

    1. Thank you! I love how we can all have similar but different styles we enjoy for sure.

Of course and thanks for visiting my TTT 🙂

  9. These look fun! Like books I think I’d really enjoy.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I am hoping to get to these at some point.

  10. These are so beautiful and satisfying. I’m obsessed with the font for Home Safe!

    1. Thank you Leslie and I agree. Home Safe just looks like it used one continuous motion, very flowy.

  11. Oh, these are all beautiful. Straight out of meaningful and personal letters. Does anyone still remember sending letters? /old

    1. Thank you and yes, that is what I thought of. I had a pen pal from France when I was in elementary school and I loved reading all the handwritten letters. I miss it but it is so expensive sending letters nowadays..

  12. I love the colours on the Seashells book cover. 🧡

    1. Ooh me too! It reminds me of a landscape water painting.

  13. love these!

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
