I have recently added a metric crud ton of books to my TBR so I am going to highlight the last book I added. It is called The Veil Between Us by Michelle Zeynep.

Synopsis
Florence “Rency” Faber isn’t dead. And yet, when she stumbles across her long-deceased great-great-grandmother’s marriage license and is strangely compelled to write the name they both share on the dotted line, the past and present start to blur together. Strange things begin to happen: a bizarre recurring dream set a century ago, the little stone house in the woods next to her grandmother’s house keeps disappearing, and the uncanny, cosmic connection between her and Henry, her mysterious, compelling neighbor—who turns out to be a ghost.
Even though she’s only staying with her grandmother for the summer, Rency is determined to help Henry break the curse that has trapped him in the veil between life and death, pulling her into a century old drama—one with unpredictable consequences and increasingly risky stakes. With the clock ticking down until she leaves, she’ll have to decide once and for all what her heart wants most: to embrace a world in-between with the man she loves, or to return to her life without him?
Why This Book?
This book is listed as a paranormal clean romance story. I have been interested in more of these types of books ever since I read Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews. Unfortunately this is not included on Kindle Unlimited but I am willing to buy the eBook if I need to as the premise sounds quite interesting!
Updates
I have finished both Crimson Leaves by Jana L. Perkins and I Think I Was Murdered by Colleen Coble and Rick Acker.
I have published by review for Crimson Leaves. I should have that other review out sometime this week! I will say for a mystery romance I Think I Was Murdered, hit the nail better than Crimson Leaves. The former had a better mixture of the two genres with a greater look at the mystery aspect which I enjoyed 🙂
