Yesterday, we did not really do anything on the interior but we did get all the wood we needed for the walls and ceiling.
Unfortunately, we had an interesting event happen to the truck when we arrived at Home Depot. There were some interesting individuals putting wood in the back of their trailer. One of the carts that was heavy with wood, ended up getting blown right into the side of the truck, denting it. Luckily, Kolton and my father-in-law handled it but man it was ridiculous. He gave us his contact info for when we take it to a shop for us to send him the bill. After that, we did not feel like testing our luck with anything with the van lol.

Today we were able to get the walls framed out with 2x4s and 1x4s. This was a bit of a headache since the wood to metal nails kept slipping and not wanting to sink into the frame. The people who had the van previously, did some weird stuff to the body so we had to hammer certain parts in just so it would be as even as possible. Considering the weird setbacks, I think we did a pretty good job.
We also hung string in between the planks to be able to hold the extra insulation we are going to shove behind the walls for extra protection.

Unfortunately, we found out the gauge cluster we got from eBay does not fully work as the speedometer is still not moving. We did find a shop in Arlington that looks at them so we may be taking that on Monday. We also received our horn today so we should be installing that soon as well!

Tomorrow, we plan on finishing out the insulation and walls and maybe getting the foam board insulation for the ceiling, so we can start framing that out. Hopefully that will not be as tricky as the walls.
The progression is progressing lol
