Stacking the Shelves – April 25, 2026

I have been sitting on this particular meme for a while now so I thought I would finally upload my first post!

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Reading Reality. It is all about showcasing all the books you are adding to your shelves, whether it be physical, electronic or audio. As long as it can be enjoyed in some shape or form, it belongs on Stacking the Shelves!

For this first week, I am focusing on some audiobooks I have just added to my TBR. All of these are available from my library on Libby 🙂
Clicking on their covers will take you to their Goodreads pages!

I have three books from one of my favorite authors Karen Witemeyer including a Texas retelling of Snow White, and the second and third books of a series I am currently listening to.

World War II has always been a harrowing and fascinating topic to read about for me, so I have three books covering different facets of the war.

Agatha Christie has been an author I have been wanting to delve into. I am starting with two of her more well-known novels, so I am hoping the hype has not been played up.

A Gentleman in Moscow is the odd one out but an interesting sounding premise to say the least. To be bound to a fancy hotel under house arrest right across the street from the Kremlin, while notable events are happening around you outside, sounded intriguing to me.

  1. Looks like a good stack! And Then There Were None was really good, one of the Christie novels I really liked.

    1. Thank you for taking a look!
I have heard great things about that one as well so hopefully it resonates with me.

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
