Time Travel Thursday – April 23rd

This is yet another meme hosted by Budget Tales Book Blog in which you take a look back on the books you were reading on this day in the past years.

That being said, I have only had this blog since August of last year and my reading was severely lacking before then. Due to this abysmal reading history, I will mention what I was reading on this day when I first started my blog 🙂 I hope that is okay!

Back on August 23rd, 2025, I was reading:

Healing the Mountain Man’s Heart by Misty M. Beller was actually the first book I ever reviewed so the date lined up perfectly for this prompt! This was a Christian, Historical Romance that started off a series of 8 books, all of which I have read and reviewed.

Today, I am currently reading/listening to:

Clicking on the titles will take you to their Goodreads page!

FlameHeart is a Contemporary/Fantasy/Romance that I am enjoying quite nicely so far. The lines between fantasy and reality start blurring when the main character finds herself dropped into the world she has created through her writing. I am reading the KU version.

The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion (vol 1) is the audiobook I am reading. It is a humorous dive into the written thoughts and observations of Emma set in the Victorian era in London.

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
