What Makes Us Unique (DP#206)

Another very interesting concept!

Obviously, we all have our unique fingerprints and DNA; the special ingredients that make us all special and one of a kind. This makes sense to me since I believe we were created by a loving God who has made each and every one of us unique in some way. Even twins have their own fingerprints and siblings could have come from the same parents but look completely different from anybody else in their family.

Besides the physical appearance, we all have had unique upbringings, involved in different cultures, were born in different locations at different times. Once again, siblings could have been born years apart, causing them to experience completely polarizing childhoods from each other. My sister and I are only two and a half years apart and even though we grew up in the same house and around the same stimuli, we have differing opinions and views about how we were raised specifically with our parents and distant relatives.

It truly is a science just studying all the nuances of how somebody is raised and how those preconceived ideas and beliefs evolve once they grow up.

About Me

Hello! I am Ashley and I simply love to read, and hope you do to!
I am currently 28 years old and living in the state of Texas, USA.

My favorite genres to read and review include romance, fantasy, mystery, and many subgenres of those as long as it is clean. I mainly get my books from my Kindle Unlimited membership, but I also found myself checking out library books on Libby as well.

As you can see, I do not solely post book reviews, I also love posting daily prompt writing, as well as stuff that is going on in my life currently. That being said, my passion is reading and reviewing books to my heart’s content, so hopefully that is something you are also interested in.

I do have a Goodreads where you can follow if you desire (no pressure!) I also have a StoryGraph, of which you can follow me here.
