We now have a brand-new windshield and wipers!
This was one of the more exciting upgrades to the van so far. I was getting quite tired from having to look at the cracked and bubbled state of the previous one. Due to all the freezing that was happening, I am very surprised it did not crack or bust even further. There were some glass pieces on the ground which seems to have come from the passenger side of the windshield, so it was only a matter of time before it shattered. The Safelite guy was shocked with how little the previous windshield was attached as it was bowing out a little too easily.

Once we get the inspection sticker on there, she will be legal to drive. That is important since we are going to have to take her back up to the shop due to the ABS sensor issue, and another issue with having to rev up the engine in order to reverse. Hopefully, these things are not too big of issues, Lord willing!

Tomorrow we are planning on making a trip to Camping World to get the fan we are going to install in the roof. We also have some door parts that are supposed to be getting delivered tomorrow, that way our garage friends (and us) will not be so irritated by the crappy doors lol

Beyond that, we still need to paint, take the tinting off the windows, get the seats reupholstered, maybe fix the dash, etc.
We are making progress!
