The biggest positive event was definitely getting the house we were living in sold for sure. I was thinking it was never going to happen due to everyone telling us how slow the market was for the similar priced houses around us. The fact it happened so fast was the craziest part about it.
I also enjoyed spending time with family for the holidays as usual. Being able to have a working vehicle is a huge blessing as well. While the truck is far from perfect, I am glad we were able to get fixed up enough to get it inspected so we will not have to worry about that for a whole other year.
Honestly, this whole journey of finding our place in the world has been an adventure, probably the biggest I have embarked on. While I am obviously apprehensive and a bit anxious about multiple facets of the plan, I also have so much excitement and desire to get things done. Feeling as though true independence is right around the corner, feels so refreshing. It is as though we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Heck, creating this blog has been another positive event for me. I decided to pull the trigger with this finally after wanting to have my own space on the internet for years. This allowed me to reconnect with my love for reading which felt very much like becoming reacquainted to an old part of myself that was buried. It was quite therapeutic in a way. While I am a bit sad my reading has slowed down due to everything moving along, I did start reading another book yesterday that will hopefully be a quicker one to finish. That way, I can at least have one review for December lol
Other positive events I HOPE comes to fruition by the end of the year includes finding a van we can convert to live out of, and make it happen. That is a tall order to fill, but you can always hope. We were just really wishing we could make it down to my in-laws in time for Christmas, but if it does not happen, we can still come down at the beginning of the year. It is no big deal.
