When I was a child, I never would have considered myself to be a morning person. I was the kid who could stay up until well after midnight playing videogames or watching movies. Nowadays, not so much lol I As soon as 10 pm comes around, I almost instantly become cranky and in desperate need of sleep.
When I started college, I was faced with the difficult task of choosing to have morning classes or night classes. Having heard the opinions of several other people, I decided to take the 8am classes. At first, I regretted that decision when I realized I would have to wake up around 6 in the morning in order to have a good amount of time to prep. I would soon come to enjoy getting everything done by the afternoon and having the rest of the day to chill or get homework done.
Getting over that initial hill back in college, allowed me to take on other positions like being the morning shift lead for Crumbl in which I had to wake up at 4 am! Granted, no amount of being a morning person would make that any easier lol Working for the school, I had to wake up at 6 as well so it prepared me for my life to come.
Nowadays, my husband and I wake up every morning at 6 am and while I do not wake up and do physical activities, I do enjoy taking that time to enjoy some coffee and read the bible. This precious morning time makes you feel as though you are in your own slice of the life pie before the rest of the world is awake.
